Medical aesthetic products. Glossier shakes up c-suite leadership team with new appointments and promotions

THE WHAT? Glossier has announced a shake-up of its leadership, expanding its all-women executive team and making several appointments at c-suite level. 

THE DETAILS Marie Suter has been promoted to Chief Creative Director, Kleo Mack is promoted to Chief Marketing Officer, and Chitra Balireddi will be joining Glossier as Chief Commercial Officer.

Balireddi will be responsible for strategically driving Glossier’s global business across all channels of distribution including eCommerce, retail and wholesale.

THE WHY? While Glossier has stated the c-suite reshuffle is to support the company’s next phase of growth, is it really an indicator of success, or a sign of a indie brand in trouble…
