THE WHAT? Shiseido has announced that it is set to double the size of its Spanish HQ as it moves to the Cerro de los Gamos business park, Madrid, according to a report published by The Fashion Network.

THE DETAILS The J-beauty giant’s new offices will span some 3,138 square meters over two floors and feature leisure facilities and a cafeteria to enhance employee satisfaction.

THE WHY? The larger space is a result of feedback from employees, The Fashion Network reports, with Belinda Riol, Director of Merchandising and Department Stores at Shiseido Spain revealing, “Our new headquarters was born out of a desire to promote, through sustainability and digital technology, the well-being of each of the members of the Shiseido family. The new office will follow the group’s Japanese philosophy, integrating nature into everyday life through elements such as the terrace, the main hub of our various shared leisure activities.”
